Jeremiah 6:16
"Thus saith the LORD, Stand ye in the ways, and see, and ask for the old paths, where is the good way, and walk therein, and ye shall find rest for your souls..."
Who are we?
- We are a Independent Fundamental Baptist Church.
- We are a New Testament Bible (KJV) believing Church.
What do we believe?
- We believe that the Bible is the Word of God. 1 Thessalonians 2:13 "For this cause also thank we God without ceasing, because, when ye received the word of God which ye heard of us, ye received it not as the word of men, but as it is in truth, the word of God, which effectually worketh also in you that believe."
- We believe that the King James Version is the Word of God.
- We believe and take serious every word in the Bible. Matthew 4:4 "But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God."
- We believe that the Bible (KJV) is inspired by God. If it wasn't inspired, it wouldn't be God's Word. 2 Timothy 3:16-17 "All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works."
- We believe that God has preserved his Word. Psalm 12:6-7 "The words of the LORD are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times. Thou shalt keep them, O LORD, thou shalt preserve them from this generation for ever." God has preserved His Word not man.
- We believe that God's Word does not need correcting, updating, changing, or rewritten for any reason. Revelation 22:18-19 "For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book: And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book."
- We believe that God's Word is perfect. Psalm 19:7 "The law of the LORD is perfect, converting the soul: the testimony of the LORD is sure, making wise the simple."
- THE BIBLE IS OUR FINAL AUTHORITY ON ALL ISSUES. 2 Timothy 3:16-17 "All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works." The Word of God is able to perfect us, therefore we don't need anything else, such as religious rituals.

Doctrinal Statement
We Believe That The Bible Is The Word Of God, just like it says. We believe that the King James Bible is the Word of God. All sixty-six books of the Bible are complete. We believe the Holy Scriptures of the Old and New Testament to be the verbally and plenary inspired Word of God. We believe that the KJV is inspired of God. We reject that the KJV is "reinspired or double inspiration." The Scriptures are inerrant, infallible, perfect, pure, inspired Word of God. That God has preserved His Word from the beginning of time. Therefore, the Bible is our final authority concerning all matters of faith and practice. The Scriptures shall be interpreted according to their normal grammatical-historical meaning, and all issues of interpretation and meaning shall be determined by the preacher. The King James Version of the Bible shall be the official and only translation used by this website in preaching, teaching, and all printed literature (2 Timothy 3:16; 2 Peter 1:20-21). We reject all other versions that are based on the critical text (A&B) underlying them such as the NIV, NASV, NKJV, TEV, ESV, UBST, RSV, NCV, NRSV along with others such as TLB, The Evidence Bible, The Message, etc. We are not TR believers, but KJB believers.
We Believe That Jesus Is The Son Of God. He was supernaturally begotten by the Holy Spirit, born of a virgin, and is truly, totally God and truly, totally man, yet without sin (Matthew 1:20-21; Luke 1:30-36; 2:10-11; John 1:1-15, Philippians 2:5-8; Colossians 1:15). He is the only begotten Son of God (John 1;14; 3:16,18; I John 4:9) and at the same time God the Son; therefore, the Lord Jesus Christ, sinless, omnipotent, omniscient, Saviour of sinners, King of kings, and Lord of lords.
We Believe In The Trinity. Though the word Trinity is never found in the Bible, the doctrine is. God is a Person, eternally existing as a Trinity in unity-Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. They are co-eternal in being, co-identical in nature, co-equal in power and glory, and have the same attributes and perfections (I John 5:7-8; Matthew 28:19; Colossians 2:9; Deuteronomy 6:4; I Corinthians 8:6; II Corinthians 13:14; John 14:10,26).
We Believe That Man Was Created in the image of God; he sinned, bringing not only physical death, but also spiritual death and separation from God. Now all mankind is totally depraved, having inherited a sinful nature; is bent toward sinning; and has become sinful in thought, word, and deed (Genesis 1:26, 27; 2:16, 17; 3:6-19; Romans 3:10-23; 6:23).
We Believe That salvation Is Totally A Gift Of God brought to man by grace through faith, not of works. Salvation is offered to all men, that the Lord Jesus Christ died on the cross for our sins; and shed his precious blood at Calvary, was buried, and rose again the third day. Jesus is our Substitute for our redemption, which thereby paid our sin debt and purchased our salvation for us; and that all who place their faith in Him are saved by His shed blood (I Corinthians 15:3-4; Colossians 1:14; Ephesians 1:7; Romans 5:9; Acts 4:12).
We Believe In Eternal Security And The Assurance Of Believers. We believe that all the redeemed, once saved, are kept by God’s power and are thus secure in Christ forever. Once saved; always saved. (John 6:37-40; 10:27-30; Romans 8:1; 38-39; I Corinthians 1:4-8; I Peter 1:4-5). We believe it is the privilege of believers to rejoice in the assurance of their salvation through the testimony of God’s Word, which, however, clearly forbids the use of Christian liberty as an occasion to the flesh. Every believer can “know” that they are saved, not hope so, or think so (Romans 13:13-14; Galatians 5:13; Titus 2:11-15; I John 5; 12-13).
We Believe In The Second Coming Of Our Lord And Saviour Jesus Christ. The blessed hope, the personal, imminent return of Christ, who will rapture His church prior to the seven-year tribulation period. This could happen at any moment to catch up His Church and to reward their service to Him. The unbelievers are left behind to go through the seven year Tribulation Period, after which Christ shall return with His saints to the earth to set up His Kingdom of one thousand years of righteous rule. After this, the unbelievers of all ages will stand at the Great White Throne to be judged and cast into the Lake of Fire, separated from God forever, while the believers spend eternity in the fullness of joy in Heaven with the Lord. (Daniel 2:31-45; Matthew 24:29-42; I Thessalonians 1:10; 4:13-18; Titus 2:13; Revelation 3:10; 19:11-20:15)
We Believe That God Is The Creator Of The Universe. He created the universe in six literal, 24-hour periods. We reject evolution, the Gap Theory, the Day-Age Theory, and Theistic Evolution as unscriptural theories of origin (Genesis 1-2; Exodus 20:11). The earth is about six thousand years old, not millions of years old.
We Believe That Satan (Devil, Lucifer), Is A Person. He is the author of sin and the cause of the Fall of Man; he is the open and declared enemy of God and man; and that he shall be eternally punished in the Lake of Fire (Job 1:6-7; Isaiah 14:12-17; Matthew 4:2-11; 25:41; Revelation 20:10).
We Believe In A Literal Heaven And Hell. Heaven is a real place that is the eternal home of all who by faith claim the salvation of Christ. Hell is a real place that is the eternal home of all who die without Christ as their Saviour. We believe in the literal, physical, bodily resurrection of both the saved and the lost (I Thessalonians 4:13-18; Revelation 20:5-6), the everlasting blessedness of the saved (Heaven) (John 14:1-3; Revelation 21-22), and the everlasting conscious punishment of the lost (Hell) where the worm dieth not (Luke 16:19-31; Revelation 20:11-15).
We Believe In Scriptural Baptism. Scriptural baptism is always public, obedience to the Lord’s command, and by immersion (after salvation). Baptism does not save but it is the Lord’s prescribed way for us to identify ourselves with Him in open confession. Baptism is a symbolic representation; a picture of the death, burial and resurrection of Christ (Matthew 10:32-33; 28:18-20; Luke 9:23; Acts 16:30-34; Romans 10:9-10).
We Believe That The Only Legitimate Marriage Is A Biblical Marriage, which is the joining of one man and one woman (Genesis 2:24; Romans 7:2; I Corinthians 7:10; Ephesians 5:22-23).
We believe that it is ungodly for a man to touch a woman before marriage or a woman to touch a man in any way shape or form (I Corinthians 7:1).
We believe that men and women are spiritually equal in position before God, but that God has ordained distinct and separate spiritual functions for men and women in the home and the church. The husband is to be the leader of the home and men are to be the leaders (pastors and deacons) of the church (Genesis 3:16; Colossians 3:18; I Timothy 2:8-15; 3:4-5, 12).
We believe that God has commanded that no intimate sexual activity be engaged in outside of a marriage including oral sex, or anything that includes the sexual parts of the body (Exodus 20:14; Hebrews 13:4; I Corinthians 7:1-5; Matthew 19:4-60.
We believe that any form of homosexuality, lesbianism, bisexuality, bestiality, incest, fornication, adultery and pornography are sinful perversions of God’s gift of sex (Gen. 2:24; 19:5; 26:8-9; Leviticus 18:1-30; Romans 1:26-29; I Corinthians 5:1; 6:9; I Thessalonians 4:1-8; Hebrews 13:4).
We believe that God disapproves of and forbids any attempt to alter one’s gender by surgery or appearance.
We Believe God Ordained Civil Government. We believe that God has ordained and created all authority consisting of three basic institutions:
1) The home
2) The church
3) The state
Every person is subject to these authorities, but all (including the authorities themselves) are answerable to God and governed by His Word. God has given each institution specific Biblical responsibilities and balanced those responsibilities with the understanding that no institution has the right to infringe upon the other. The home, the church, and the state are equal and sovereign in their respective Biblically assigned spheres of responsibility under God (Romans 13:1-7; Ephesians 5:22-24; Hebrews 13:17; I Peter 2. 13-14).
We Believe In Biblical Separation. We believe that all the saved should live in such a manner as not to bring reproach upon their Saviour and Lord. God commands His people to separate from all religious apostasy, all worldly and sinful pleasures, practices, and associations, and to refrain from all immodest and immoderate appearances such as body piercing, bodily markings, alcohol, drugs, smoking, men with long hair, women with shaved hair like a man, and cursing (Romans 12:1-2; 14:13; 2 Corinthians 6:14-7:1; 2 Timothy 3:1-5; I John 2:15-17; 2 John 9-11; Leviticus 19:28; I Corinthians 6:19-20). We make no apology nor are we ashamed of our conservative beliefs in many areas including music, social issues, dress, and behavior. We welcome all who come to our doors, but we give no place on our platform to honor or to hear the opinions and the views of those who do not hold to “sound doctrine” (I Timothy 1:3). With this in view, we oppose the widespread popular practice of ecumenism (getting theologically diverse groups together for the sake of fellowship, for the cause of evangelism, and for the exercise of their ministries together), and New Evangelicalism.
We Believe That The Church Is The Bride Of Christ. We believe that the church is the body and the espoused bride of Christ, is solely made up of born-again believers (I Corinthians 12:12-14; 2 Corinthians 11:2; Ephesians 1:22-23; 5:25-27). We reject the false teaching of the “Baptist Bride.” We believe that the establishment and continuance of local churches is clearly taught and defined in the New Testament Scriptures (Acts 14:27; 20:17,28-32; I Timothy 3:1-13; Titus 1:5-11). We believe in the autonomy of the local church free of any external authority, convention or control (Acts 13:1-4; 15:19-31; 20:28; Romans 16:1,4; I Corinthians 3:9,16; 5:4-7; I Peter 5:1-4). We recognize water baptism and the Lord’s Supper as the Scriptural ordinances of obedience for the church in this age (Matthew 28:19-20; Acts 2:41-42; 18:18; I Corinthians 11:23-26). We believe that the Lord’s Supper is the commemoration, by the use of unleavened bread and of the fruit of the vine (not wine or alcohol), of the death of Christ until He comes again and that it is to be preceded always by solemn self-examination (I Corinthians 11:23-28). The Lord's Supper is not kept to take us to Heaven, but to thank Jesus for His sacrifice.
We Believe That Abortion Is Murder under all circumstances. We believe that human life begins at conception and the unborn child is a living human being. Abortion constitutes the unjustified, unexcused taking of unborn human life. We reject any teaching that abortions of pregnancies due to rape, incest, birth defects, gender selection, birth or population control or the mental well-being of the mother are acceptable (Job 3:16; Psalms 51:5; 139:14-16; Isaiah 44:24; 49:1,5; Jeremiah 1:5; 20:15-18; Luke 1:44).
We Believe In Biblical Stewardship. We believe the Scriptures teach all believers to give tithes (at least 10%) and offerings from our income and resources into the Lord’s treasury in the local church and that all of us have a responsibility before God to be faithful every week in our stewardship (Malachi 3:8-10; Matthew 23:23; I Corinthians 16:1-2).
We Believe In Faithfulness To The Lord’s Day. We believe that Sunday, the first day of the week, is the Lord’s Day. It is therefore a sacred and special day. We reject the modern teaching of not having church on Sunday nights or a midweek service. It should be a day of worship of the Lord and service to Him, as well as a day of respect and rest from the ordinary routines of life (John 20:1,19,26; I Corinthians 16:2; Hebrews 10:25).
We Believe In World Evangelism. We believe the Lord’s Great Commission (Matthew 28:19-20; Mark 16:15: John 20:21; Acts 1:8; Romans 10:13-15) is His command to us to get the Gospel to the world; therefore, we carry forth an extensive program of soul-winning evangelism here in the homeland and a worldwide missionary program abroad, with the goal of winning people to Christ, starting churches, baptizing them, and teaching them everything the Lord has commanded us (Matthew 28:18-20; Acts 1:8). We further believe that when we follow Christ appropriately and obediently we will be a “fisher of men” (Matthew 4:19).
We Believe In Godly Music. We believe that God created music for His glory and for our worship to Him. God has told us exactly what kinds of music to listen to in and out of church. Ephesians 5:19 “Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord;” We reject all false teaching that teach that music is neutral. No Contempory Christian Music, modern praise and worship music, or Christian rap can be used in any ministry of the church. We believe that a person’s lifestyle should be an example of Christ before they are allowed to play or sing in any ministry of the church.
