take a stand against such acts.  Thank you for you website and we will keep you
and your family in our prayers. I have recently started a website.  Please feel

I have no idea how I originally stumbled onto your web site, but sonehow I did and I love it.  I see on this web site references to the great men of God I was taught to reverence in the early days of my Christian experience.
I was gloriously saved out of the Hell-hole, rat-bag, flesh-eating, Sodomite, demonic Roman Catholic Church on November 3, 1991 at the age of 27 in a little country church in Gettysburg, Pa.  The pastor of that church (who is now 80) was a great admirer of Oliver Greene and some of the great old preachers of the past, and those are the men of God I came to admire as well.
I am hardcore KJV-only, but I am currently in a church where the pastor has eschewed the KJV for the NKJV.  Needless to say, I am in a search for another church, even though the pastor at this oen preaches sound doctrine and is a great man of God.
My still-Catholic (and Hellbound) father has persecuted me for my faith.  He slanders the true faith and seeks opportunities in conversation to extol Catholic doctrine.  When I have tried to counter his heresy and Hellish error, he has exploded in anger and harshness.  Because of some of that, I backslid and fell into some sin.  Lately, however, I have confessed and repented of my sin and backslidden condition, and have returned to the Lord (though still in the non-KJV Baptist church)......
I love your web site and I know your church is one I would be quite comfortable in.
It is obvious from the web site that your church is very small.  Please do not lose heart over that.  The church I was saved in had only 45 members, but it was the most faithful, God-fearing, fundamental church I have ever been in.  Yours can and will be the same.  Believe me, it depends on the pastor.  If you remain faithful to the word of God (KJV) and preach the fundmental doctrines without apology, the Lord will see to it that faithful CHristians come to your church.
Personally, if I were a pastor, I would rather have 30 hardcore, faithful members who were there every time the doors were open than 500 soft-shell, compromising, world-loving pretend-Christians.
Thank you for your web site and church.
May the Lord be with you and yours as you seek to serve Him.

Dear Bro. Grizzard,

You do not know me, and i do not know you.

I visited your churches web site and was amazed at all the sermons from fundamental Preachers you have on your web site.
I have heard Dr. Craig Edwards, and Dr. Joe Arthur many times at Camp Meeting at the Fellowship Baptist Church In Clayton, NC. I have also heard Dr. D.A. Waite many times over the years preach on the King James Bible. He is on the Board of reference at the Bible College I attend.  I enjoyed listening to Dr. Sightler's sermon "Can God". It was good to hear it again. I attended Tabernacle Baptist Church in 1994-1995, and had the privilege of hearing him preach many times.
I agree with your stand on the KJV, and on your stand against contemporary christian music.
I would encourage you to continue to stay by the stuff, and stay on the old paths.  I especially liked the book burning idea. the so-called perversions need to be burnt. that is all they are worth is to be burnt to keep warm. thank you for taking a stand on the Book, the Blood and the Blessed Hope. As a preacher, if i can ever be of service to you, just let me know.
I will keep you and your church in my prayers.
      In Christ's service always,

Comment written to me:

Preacher,
My daddy is a preacher too.  I am sure you know him, we went to Blue Ridge Baptist Church when I was growing up and Bobby Pierce was my preacher then.  My daddy also preaches on Sunday Mornings on 1160AM WJFJ and he too loves the 1611KJV.  The reason for my email is because he uses people he respects as examples during his sermons and he talks of Billy Kelly, Oliver Greene and many others.  I have to use the internet at my work computer and I am unable to download the sermons you have for these men of God.  I would love to give my daddy a gift of some of these sermons.  I would like to ask if you or someone you know has to ability to download a few of them and make a CD for me to give him as a gift.  I would be very happy to pay for the cost and the time.  I will include a list of the ones I have mostly heard him mention over the last 40 years, and maybe you or the person who could help me could pick a few of them.  I thank you so much for your time and help.  Keep up the good work on your website.  It is really a great thing to know that there are still people in the world that loves God enough to follow his word.

God Bless,
Missy

December 26

I just had to tell you again that I appreciate the CD you mailed to me of the old sermons.  It was the biggest hit of CHRISTmas.  My daddy sat the whole time presents were being opened listening to them.  He kept stopping them to tell us how Maze "told me one time" and things like that.  Because of your help, this is the first CHRISTmas gift I can say he will enjoy for years.  God bless your family and your ministry.

Thank you again,
Missy

Hey brother,

I was checking "Christian Headlines," and see the headline: "One Baptist Church to Celebrate Halloween By Burning Bibles."

I knew that by clicking on the link I was either going to find the right crowd or a bunch of nuts - thank God it was the right crowd. I have downloaded my sermons from your website in the past and thank God for you and your ministry. Keep fighting the good fight brother - it surely can't be much longer now!

Also, have you seen the responses to the story? It is really telling of where we are in America. Anyway, I just wanted to write to encourage you to keep on for the Lord Jesus Christ!

Hey Brother Marc,

I read the news article last night at church and we all rejoiced in your zeal for the Lord!

I hate to hear of the threats aimed at you, your family, and church... but we can rejoice that we can suffer shame for the Lord Jesus Christ! I know that's easy for me to say - it's a lot harder to live - so we'll be praying for you folks.

Since the Lord Jesus Christ is completely holy and sinless

Subject: Praise God!!!

Hello Pastor Grizzard,

I read about you and your upcoming Halloween book burning in the news today and all I have to say is PRAISE THE LORD!! I hope it is the beginning of many more churches doing the same. God will bless your stand. I have been praying for REVIVAL in America and maybe your book burning will be the beginning.

I also admire your determination to build a church starting with 14 members....amen. I am not pentecost but your convictions, courage and will to stand up for God might make me one. *smileI

On Septembner 20th our pastor closed our church. We had about 20 members coming but he didn't think that was enough. So, he took the money and is headed back to Texas. God will get him for that. I wish we lived near your church but God will give us a place to worship Him.

Keep up the good work. I will be looking at your website frequently. I publish a newsletter on prayer titled THE PRAYER CHAIN and I am always looking for sermons on prayer. When Dr. Hyles was alive he sent me a copy of his book on pryaer. I truly like him too. You do know Dr. Schaap does not believe the King James is inspired, right? And, there are some questionable things in a book he wrote, but we just need to pray for him.

Thank you again for your stand. I pray your church will grow and be a lighthouse for God there in North Carolina. If we are ever over that way we will stop by and say hello.

God bless you real good today!

Hello Brother in Christ,

I just read about your plans to host a book burning on helloween. Good for you!! We need more attention brought to the fact that helloween is the devils holly day!
I have a sugestion for a book to be added to the fire. It is called spirital self defence by mark hunter. All the book really is, is an complete attack on God and the bible. It twist passages from the bible in an attempt to make God look evil!
This book has been going around my group of friends and several of them actually belive it. Somthing must be done before this book causes more people to turn away from God.

Thank you Sir,
Just another follower of Jesus,

Hello.  I just wanted to send you a note that I really enjoyed visiting your web site (http://amazinggracebaptistchurchkjv.com/index.html).  I was especially happy to find all the wonderful preachers, some of which have been difficult to find in times past.  I will be passing your link to my friends and I do plan on returning to download some of those wonderful sermons.  Thank God for His preached Word.

Dear Pastor Grizzard,

I had seen your son Micah's going service. I had only seen his photo once. Since then, I was unable to find it again? The website I had seen his photo was on Bob and Maureen Hoffman's website. Baptist Web Portal a Ministry of Baptist Ministries.

I did read about your wife Beth and had listened to your sermon on Acts 1. No doubt you and Beth love the Lord and the King James Bible. I like the Pastor's Quotes. and A Godly Heritage. Many of this great preachers mentioned, I have read and listened to them on MP3.

I did submit to you on the survey you requested I do, and I did, honestly and truthfully. Whether you did receive it, I don't know?

I am 69 years of age, now handicap since 2002, and now living with my wife in the Philippines. She is also a born-again Christian since 2003, and your truly, since 1960. I have been using the KJB since. My first study Bible was the Old Scofield of 1913. Today, I am using the Cambridge Edition of about 1771-1790 or whereabouts.

I had seen that only one person gave you a 5 star ***** rating. Pastor Marc, it is sad that only one. Please note, that I, Richard Beaulac also give you a 5 star ***** rating for your website. It is the best and deserves EXCELLENCY! Your website has been such a blessing to me and my wife. Beth, thank you for your husband Marc. I had seen your photos, and those of your family. Please share this email to them and to the members of Amazing Grace Baptist Church.

Whether you decide to email me or not, I would be an injustice for me to say nothing about your excellent website and about the Grizzard family of God.

I help moderate the oldpathsermon site, and noticed that you have a lot of preaching too,
There are few good godly sites on the web and I appreciate your stand.. esp. on breaking out the ol' 1828 webster on that repentance questioning fellow!

Just wanted to let you know there are many great sermons to come on oldpathsermons, & feel free to use what ever you need,
A few folks have entrusted us with their old cassette archives and we are trying to get them out to the world & preserve these old jewels!
& Some of these Newly posted Percy Ray sermons are REALLY GOOD! Some of the best I have heard from him, ( in my opinion)
He also goes over a lot of stories that are in his biography ' A RAY GOD'

& Let me know if you come across a Barn Burner!!!

Thanks again,

I think you have a lot of good information,
and that you should keep up the good work. I sincerely enjoyed looking through
the site you have here. I know that folks probably send you emails all the time
with complaints and other stuff, but just keep it up. Amen. I haven't looked
through every portion of your site, but for what I have looked through I like.
Don't let the "judge not" crowd stop you or get you to tone it down, just go
ahead and tell the truth. Preach the word be instant in season and out of
season, reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine.

Preacher, a friend pointed me to your website (amazinggracebaptistchurchkjv.com), and I want to thank you so much for the time and effort you've invested in putting up all this great stuff! You've got all the great preachers on there -- everyone from Oliver B. Greene to Lester Roloff -- it's just a goldmine of all the good old-fashioned fire-and-brimstone King James Bible preaching.

Thanks so much for this fantastic resource!

I ask in my survey-What do you think about this site?

Brother Alan Responds

"A little congested, but informitive. Guess
with all the info. it couldn't be helped. Hope you are settling in to Haywood
County. I really like the pictures and the page on your daddy. Hope my son
thinks as much of me when Im gone. You have a nice family too. Hope God blesses
your ministry. I really like the Spurgeon page. I take it you list MacAruthor
and Piper on the "bad" list because they use something other than the KJV? Well
anyway keep preaching the inerrant Word of God brother."

Pastor Alan D.......

March 10, 2009

Some "Baptist" filled out my survey and said that "he didn't worship the KJV like I did." He also said that it was okay for a Christian to go dancing. In the comments box titled "What do you think about this site?" He said, "I think you are the biggest hypocrit I have
ever seen. You take all things way out of context and apply your judgement when
it is not your place. For instance you ask if I go to the movies and then judge
me on that alone. How do you even know what movie I would see." He also stated that his favorite type of music was "traditional and contemporary." Concerning Southern Gospel music he felt like most of it is fine to listen to. Says that it is okay for a woman to wear pants. O by the way, I forgot to tell you all. He is in seminary, studing the Bible. Probally one of our New Evangelical positive speakers of the future. Sad to say, but he would fit right in with most Southern Baptist Churches and even a lot of IFB Churches.

February 17, 2009

Comments: I have a quick question.  You list Crown Financial Ministries as a
good site for money matters.  Have you taken the Crown Money Matters course?  I
have and I don't see how you can agree with them if you only use KJV, because
the literature I used had NIV, ESV, NKJV, and KJV so that seems a little
hypocritical to me, although I believe that they are quite alright.  Have a
blessed day.

Levi

*******

My comments:

Hello Levi, Thanks for pointing this out to me. You are correct, and I will be removing them from my site. I actually knew that Larry B. did not use the KJV only, and I overlooked it somehow. I have not taken their course. I have read several of his books. I have taken Dave Ramsey's course and read two of his books. We actually use his budget and like it. But I would never use either in my church, or allow others to do so. Because of their New Evangelical views.
Thanks. Pastor Marc

February 10, 2009

"Hello, Great website, lots of good stuff! My question is regarding having Gaither music in our songbooks. I have seen some of the older Gaither stuff in a few so-called hymnals recently at few of the Baptist churches I visit for conferences. I find this to be a very disturbing trend as Gaither is pro-homosexual and has a very vocal christian-lesbian activist-singer on tour with him. http://www.jesus-is-savior.com/Evils%20in%20America/CCM/bill_gaither.htm
As a simple layman I am not in a position to call out the publisher of the hymnals or the churches on this. Part of me wants to break fellowship, and part says that I am grasping  at straws I would like to hear your opinion on this."

Mr. Garvey

*******

My Comments

Hello and thanks for the kind comments concerning the web site.
Concerning the music I will try and answer your question to the best of my ability. Music is one of my weak points in ministry. I am constantly getting advice from others about this issue. As far as the Gaithers I agree whole heartedly that they are carnal in their music and lifestyle. I will not allow them or others like them to be on our web site or in our church. We don't have them in our hymn books, youth dept., choir, specials, home, etc. You are correct that many "Baptist" Churches do have them in their hymnals and allow their choir to sing their songs or allow their music to be sung by others. I forget what they are off the top of my head but there are a couple of "old hymns" that Bill Gaither wrote that are very Biblical and sound. The problem as you say, they send a mixed message to your congregation, and I agree with you. No matter how good they are we will not use them. Even if I like them. It's like saying that your a King James Version Only Church, but you allow the Awana's or the Daily Bread, or some James Dobson film in your church. You are sending two messages and it will confuse people and cause you trouble. As far as the publishers you can forget it. They are New Evangelical and ecumenical in their purpose and print what the crowds want and what will make a buck. I personally would not leave a church over this issue of having the Gaithers in your hymnals. You might bring it to the pastor's attention and see what his view is. There would be nothing wrong with you in love voiceing your opinion to the pastor only. If a church that I was going to became 100% contemporary then I would have to tell the pastor in a loving way why I was leaving. By the way, there is a good hymnal put out by The Sword of the Lord.
I hope this has helped you. If you are looking for a lot more information on music I would go to David Cloud's web site called
www.wayoflife.org
. Thanks. Pastor Marc

Comments: I am pleased to find your website! Thank you for your efforts to put so much in one place. I have enjoyed looking around and plan to come back to benefit from what you have managed to compile, especially the audio preaching. I expect that you have and will receive criticism and that you can handle it when it comes. you had on your "Links" - “Warning: Be aware of some of Patch's newer music. Some of it is contemporary.”- I don’t mean to be critical, but thought I’d point out that all of Ron Hamilton’s (Patch) music is contemporary. It is all “newer” but none of it is CCM (Contemporary Christian Music). I’m sure you know that it is David Cloud who has been sounding the alarm about Patch’s “newer stuff” and truthfully there have been a few changes….maybe two or three songs that might have anything questionable. But when I say questionable I mean by the very highest of standards. Most of us as Fundamental Baptist Pastors struggle with discerning right music according to these high standards.
I appreciate the ministries of Cloud, Hamilton and now you, but from what I know about David Cloud and Ron Hamilton neither would be very pleased with much of the music on your website so much of our Gospel music has honky tonk in the background and is unacceptable. In other words your music on your web site is more libe ral than anything that the Hamilton’s have ever produced – no offence meant – but the song that played while I was looking at the pictures under “Mixed Nuts” is just like what David Cloud took issue with - against Patch’s new
music.
I am telling you this primarily because it makes you (and us) look silly when we contradict ourselves like this. I don’t have a problem with your choice of
music…but if you (like so many others) put the big WARNING sign up about Patch only to publicly violate even more the principles that He is accused of violating, somebody is going to call you on it.
I may be wrong but I assume you posted the warning because David Cloud does. If
you did, why not put next to Dr. Hyles preaching “WARNING: Be aware Jack Hyles promotes Easy Prayerism.”
Again, I don’t mean to attack. I have been blessed by the ministries of Hyles, Cloud and Hamilton and I honestly do appreciate your website. My words are not to be critical but to caution. You have a great looking Family and I trust the Lord will use you all in tremendous ways.

Pastor  Randy

P.S. WARNING! Baptist preachers are highly opinionated.  Ha ha like you didn’t know.

My Comments:

Hello Brother Graham,
Thanks very much for all of your comments. I have many weak areas that I know little about, but music is one of the biggest. I am no music major, and know only what I have read and studied. I have many great books, DVD's, messages, etc on music, but I still have a problem trying to discern between those that are close to the line. I obviously can discern rock, rap, country, etc but have a problem with some of the Souther Gospel styles, country, and bluegrass Christian.
I have gone back through my entire web site (I think, unless I missed something) and made a lot of changes concerning the music. Please when you have a few minutes let me know what you think. It's been a while since I put up much of that music, and I hardly ever hear it. I think that I picked most of it because it went well with the "Theme" of the page that it was on, which is no excuse. It Certainly is not a biblical way to chose music. I'm Sorry!
As far as the warning about Ron Hamilton's music you are correct that I got that from David Cloud. I personally have not heard what Brother Cloud is talking about. I value his opinion and ministry, so I just took his word for it. I have left the warning up but have changed the wording.
As far as the warning about Jack Hyles I do have a warning up on the "Welcome Page". It is the main page. If you scroll down to "Sermons By Jack Hyles" you will see a warning that I give about that. It is not stated everywhere I mention Brother Hyles but I do include one. I don't necessarily agree with Brother Cloud on every single issue, so just because he says something does not mean that I agree with it completely. I don't even agree with me sometimes.
One last thing, I never want to cause someone to question anything I do for the cause of Christ. I try to hold to the strictest of standards in all areas of my life and ministry. Many emails come to me, like David Cloud, that so-called Christians curse at me, call me names, and criticize my web site because of the stand I take on the KJV, separation, etc. It's nice to hear from someone who can "suggest" or "point out" some disagreements in a nice and loving way. Please let me know what you think about the changes. May God bless you.

Pastor Marc,
Thanks for your reply, I am humbled that you would respond and so pleased that you did not take offence. I think that we are very much alike for I have said many of the same things like "I don't even agree with me sometimes". I do believe that you are striving to serve the Lord to the best of you ability, as am I. Of course we do not agree with everyone on all things but what a blessing to find someone of your spirit. You said "I'm sorry" but you do not owe me an apology. When I said  "Most of us as Fundamental Baptist Pastors struggle with discerning right music according to these high standards"  I of course did not mean we were rebellious or anything, just that we are lacking knowledge. I to am still growing in this area and even david cloud asked the 'experts" for their advice on the issue. I sure appreciate your reaction and again I applaud your efforts with your website.

I listened to Hudson and Sightler last week on your site and hope to hear Bob Grey this next week (been a long time since I heard him) and I'll look at your changes then.
God Bless
Pastor Graham

of preaching and singing anymore, keep it up, God bless you!

Greetings my co-heir in Christ.

It is so refreshing to see a site like yours.  I bookmarked it as a favorite and hope to return to go through the sermons.  I am familiar with Brother Clouds works.  That was a beautiful tribute for your father. Satan’s unrelentless attack against the head of the family and the church’s leaders takes so many forms.  It is so nice to show God’s grace in building up godly men, obedient servants of the Lord that really should be the role models for young people in the church.

Brother, I’d like to ask you a favor.  I am trying to get solid, Biblically-correct country music. I love the song you have on the html page http://amazinggracebaptistchurchkjv.com/gpage1.html  but I don’t know who the author is or how to find other songs with Lord-pleasing lyrics such as this song.  If you can provide me with some links for this type of music, I would greatly appreciate it.    I am a Yankee by birth but Southern in heart.  Usually I listen to scripture songs or the classic hymns. I like the slow, understandable vocals country offers.   By the way, thanks for the expose on that wicked Battle Hymn of the Republic, it is such a theologically perversion, its nice to have its error pointed out.

Once again thanks for the discernment and teachings you provide on the website.

On the side of Victory,

Dan
