Deaf Ministry
Our deaf ministry is a new ministry that is being taught on Sunday nights at 6 PM. We are all learning to speak with those who are hearing impaired. Sometime before the preaching we take about ten minutes to go over some signing that we have already learned, and then we learn some new signs. We give out papers that go in our folders to help us to remember to go over them throughout the week. We believe this is what Paul was talking about when he said in 1 Corinthians 9:22 “To the weak became I as weak, that I might gain the weak: I am made all things to all men, that I might by all means save some.” This is only one of the many ways that this verse can be applied. At this time we don't have any hearing impaired people that are actually members of our church. We are not going to wait until they get here before we learn either.

Food & Clothing Ministry
We at this present time help support the Garden City Rescue Mission in Augusta, Georgia. We also have a food and clothing ministry as well here at the church. We are constantly receiving these items to give to the poor. We offer a tax donation receipt for the gifts that are given. We also make up bags with food, toiletry items, McDonald’s gift coupons, water, clothing, Gospel tract, church brochure, etc., and give them out as we see the homeless in the city. We don’t have a problem picking up items either; it just needs to be scheduled. If you would like to donate anything other that the items listed above please let us know. Luke 4:18 "The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised."

Operation Saturation
|
| |
Operation Saturation is a five year plan to get the gospel to every home in Cumming, Gerogia. We are doing that each week with our street by street knocking on doors. Each week we select a new street that we have not visited and go door to door handing out a brochure from our church. Each brochure has information about our church and it's ministries, a map, times of services, contact information, and the plan of salvation. Starting in March we are sending mailers to every new mover within a five miles radius of our church. After each invite we will be following up with a visit and a gift. Our mission is to get the gospel of Jesus Christ to everyone, not just a few. In fact, every ministry at Amazing Grace Baptist Church is to "go ye into all the world". We don't have ministries just to have ministries. Every ministry is to have our vision statement at the forfront at all times. For example: If we have a youth department that is not actively involved in trying to reach the lost and fulfilling the great commsion, than all we have is an exspensive baby sitting service. I'm all for having fun and activities, but when it is unbalanced something is wrong. This is why every ministry will be involved in getting the gospel out, or it want exist.

Spanish Ministry
Our Spanish ministry meets for about ten minutes every Sunday morning during Sunday school. We are learning to speak Spanish so we can reach those in our community that are falling between the cracks. We believe this is what Paul was talking about when he said in 1 Corinthians 9:22 “To the weak became I as weak, that I might gain the weak: I am made all things to all men, that I might by all means save some.” This is only one of the many ways that this verse can be applied. We invited all to attend that "by all means (you may) save some."
