Mormonism
The Mormon Church-The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS) was founded on April 6, 1830 by Joseph Smith and five other men. Joseph Smith published The Book of Mormon in March 1830. This book is also called "another Testament of Jesus Christ," and "Pearl of Great Price." Smith called himself a prophet that allegedly saw revelations from ancient "golden plates" that an angel called Moroni had shown to him. He also had to use a pair of mystical glasses to translate the plates. Funny we no longer have the plates or the glasses. Joseph Smith died in 1844, but the Mormon false teachings have spread throughout the world under the direction of Brigham Young. Smith was also a mason and an occultist. He worked the occultic Jupiter (the Roman god) talisman which is called the "Masonic Jewel." History tells us that the entire family of Smith was deeply involved in the occult. Joseph Smith was arrested in 1826 for an occult practive called the "glass looking." The Mormon credo is: "As man is, God once was: As God is, man may becomne." This teaches that God was once a sinner, and that we will become God one day. Here are just a few of the heretical false teachings by Joseph Smith and the Mormons.
Jesus was married to the sisters of Lazarus as well as Mary Magdalene.
Both the Old and New Testaments are imperfect and inferior to the works of Joseph Smith.
God is an exalted man.
Men can become gods.
Jesus was begotten in the flesh sexually by God.
Jesus is the brother of Satan.
Jesus became God by obedience.
Salvation by works.
Only Mormons go to the highest heaven.
A Mother in heaven as well as a Father.
Jesus is NOT the Son of God.
Denies the virgin birth of Jesus.
Jesus' death on the cross did not atone for our sins.
Adapting to New Age Unity
Those who trust in Joseph Smith and the Mormon Church beliefs will go to hell. One cannot go to heaven and belive such "damnable heresies."
